Right LCY states directly on their website they use their own “proprietary” yeast strains. Meaning they don’t need anyone else’s to run their plant.

“HOW WE MAKE IT
We use renewable feedstocks (sugars and fatty acids) instead of fossil fuels and apply industrial biotechnology (fermentation) using our proprietary yeasts, which consume sugars and fatty acids to produce desired products.”
