Boston Scientific (BSX) has a product called "Orise" that is used in submucosal lifting in the GI tract.. while it does work to "lift" the lesion or polyp away from the surrounding normal healthy tissue, it does NOT have hemostatic or sealant properties. This gives the AC5-G a major advantage over others. If fact, I believe AC5-G is the ONLY endoscopy/colonoscopy- submucosal lifting product that DOES consist of hemostatic/ sealant properties that also further promotes normal healing and tissue growth. IMO
Additionally, AC5 contributes benefits by being anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. Plus,to go one step further, it also has anti-adhesion properties etc.. All of these properties lead and promote "Normal Healing."
The medical community at SAGES will understand this... the questions is.. will YOU?
wake up people.
