I will definitely take your advice for living to fight another day. It is kinda funny, but 2006 was the first year I have ever invested in stocks. I initially chose biotech because that is what I am familiar with (I currently work for Genentech as an intern and I am progressing toward a PhD in chemical/biochemical engineering). So far I have been lucky and haven't lost any money yet, but I definitely cannot take credit for that. I am quickly learning that I might have picked a hard area to learn how to invest in stocks. Oh well, Im in too deep now so I might as well keep learning and pushing forward.

Thank you for the info on Biomarin. Back at school I worked in the lab with a PhD student who did some work with Biomarin. I will definitely do some research and put them on my consideration list.

Do you know anything about PPHM? I really appreciate your insight and would love to hear any thoughts that you might have on this company.
