Because when that's the only option you have or not get a robot in the market at all. You take the deal. There's too much money in the market to be stubborn and stupid. My guess is the plan is for Medtronic to never allow Titan license their IP to anyone. After the development process that is currently in place with this agreement with Medtronic is completed. Medtronic will probably offer Titan an offer they can't refuse. Problem solved. This isn't rocket science. It's business. Business isn't a complicated medical mystery. You can see it setting up that way and anyone who can fog a mirror can see that unless Medtronic buysout Titan. They will have to compete with the same IP that's in their robot in other company's robots. Not going to happen.
