I've hit TDA twice with the same question regarding naked shorting and both times they have overlooked the question and completely ignored it:

Mr. X,

We do not place dividends into the account until we receive them from the company first. If there is some issue holding up the payout of the dividend, you can contact the company to see what the reason is. We do not provide advice or analytical interpretation on securities or accounts so we cannot address your question. If you would like account specific information, you can continue to contact us by electronic correspondence via e-mail or call us at 1-800-934-4448 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This answer has nothing to do with the questions I asked so I will ask again: Is it possible that the dividend shares are not in my account because of a Naked Shorting Situation. A NOBO report has verified 118 million shares to be short in EQBM. Does this affect the dividend and warrants being placed in my account?

Mr. X,

There are times when a company is simply behind in getting the dividend paid out. We are unable to give any time frame or specific reasons behind this matter. If you need details, you may contact the company directly.
