Not nessesarily true your statement. The receivables are covering it if they can collect on the receivables. Now one may ask what receivables could there be in a strictly cash business. Firstly a receivable is a payable for the common shareholder and vise versa for the equity holder. You want to look at it from the position of the equity holder not the common share holder cause it’s the equity holder that is holding the bag not the common share holder.
