I think that gold company deal is close to done with the way he was talking about it. IIRC correctly he pointed out that the company needed capital for flexibility and blockchain stuff is key since it's important to the gold company that they know WHERE the gold is coming from. You don't say that and risk someone else swooping in do you? Unless you are confident the negotiations for the deal is in a good place.

The "24 tons exported and one of the biggest gold companies in west africa" description fits so many companies that it allowed him to speak that freely.

I hope it's the former of the two.
