Trend is your friend only till it ends.
Trend is most certainly up and has been. However, all trends do end. Although standing in front of bull stampede results in ugly hoof prints on your face and other delicate body parts, at this point it won't take much to have the stampede go the other way. (Somebody, get the cowboys to fire shots in the air or something) ...
Still holding some long positions, but also started a small Rydex bear position this morning. (I am told the Rydex bear assets are still too much to warrant a serious decline).
SOX did not put in a bullish day today, perhaps nervousness ahead of Intel earning report. Till we get a bear-cleansing buying climax, we may get a slow grind up at best or a range bound market at worst.
