The complacent refusal to implement improved COVID-19 diagnostic tests is the greatest disruption to social, economic, scientific and medical remediation of the problem. COVID-19 clearly disrupted and continues disrupting social function and infrastructure. The complacency behind labeling improved technologies as “disruptive” and refusing to implement them only exacerbate COVID-19’s effects.
