I was an investor and even bigger user of UPS years ago. The stock rose, of course, after the Great Recession and it increased its payout regularly, but I felt UPS was raising its prices too much. In fact my company shifted to doing most of its shipping by regular mail which became much cheaper than UPS. That's why I was down on the stock.

Funny, I just walked outside as a Fedex truck pulled up across the street. Such trucks are everywhere. But they made a lot more profit per delivery carrying merchandise to retail stores before CV than they make on tiny shipments to homes.
