PITrader spoke to this well earlier, and until Fezz chimes in this is my leading contender of a theory on the NIH news discloser:

Maybe they're not bringing Lenz/HGEN to their mouths because they don't want to deal with the peanut gallery rabble-rousing govt funds going towards something loosely associated with controversial/polarizing Pharma Bro.


It's a silly reason, sure... but i agree there's no reason to show your hand more than you need to, especially if it may detract from the bigger picture.
