Financing Deal Does Not Equal COVID Results

Good news on one front does not promise good news or even news on another.

Please consider the following:

If a company was going to announce ground breaking results would they do it on a Thursday at 4pm on the tail end of a news cycle?

Would they just devote 15 minutes to how important it is? Would 15 minutes even be able to cover that kind of ground breaking news?

OR

Would a company release ground breaking news just before market, ideally on a Monday to ride the news cycle and book appearances on major media outlets?

Temper your excitement and be prepared for the after math of the nothing burger.
