You should read all links I posted and here is another. Watch video too.

Trump Administration furthered their commitment to ending reliance on global supply chains for pharmaceutical drugs — granting Kodak a $765 million loan to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) domestically.

Notice, the CEO discusses manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).

Not a peep is said about Hydroxychloroquine, which has become a catch phrase to diss the President. So much so, it's great to place in articles as a way to gather more clicks since it's talked about so much.

I don't know whether or not it will be manufactured by Kodak, but, they sure don't mention it. And, even if they included in the 30 or so API's manufacured, is that reason for this to be a bad deal? They'll be manufacturing about 25% of the chemicals needed for generics. Would you prefer that it all continues to be manufactured in China or India?

This article doesn't mention it either, but, has a great pic of chemical mixing machine in the Rochester plant. I believe that's the one that will be used initially.

We can agree to disagree, but anything to bring drug manufacturing back to the US is a win other than price would go up. In exchange for higher price I'll feel better about what I'm ingesting if made in US.

Btw, I like the idea of having choice in what I try. Just like I won't take a newly made vaccine before it's been tried on people for years.

Love him or hate him, most agree we need to bring manufacturing back to the US.

There is nothing brilliant about pushing a drug proven ineffective upon the people of this country by underwriting Kodak to produce it ..its criminal
