The consolidation period is largely dictated by the strength of the fundamentals that are fueling the leg or legs up.

It may do well to not only DD what the 'fueling factors' are, but also, if there's 'pumpers' who are 'holding the fuel lines'.

The more well known the 'pumper', the more volitile the consoidation period.
