I can tell you firsthand, your statement is blatantly incorrect. And my earlier statement about ED visits is also true, and quite extreme, which has resulted in even fewer emergency surgeries on its own. So there have been fewer elective, semi-elective, urgent and emergent cardiac procedures. Whether it’s intuitive or not is not the point. The main point is that there have been significantly fewer cardiac surgeries during the Covid crisis.
