MDC This homebuilder announced very strong earnings. Q2 EPS was $1.31 vs 83c analyst estimate and 86c last year. New orders were up 5% from a year ago with an amazing 53% increase in the month of June yoy. Sales became much stronger as the quarter progressed.

Record low interest rates along with peoples newfound desire to move to the suburbs and out of the cities is creating a new boom for the builders.
