Money 101

This has been a great read thus far - I really appreciate the board and the insight offered.

At one point I thought I was well versed in investing and turned to Penny stocks as I thought it was the only way to truly beat the market (i still think that). After a few disappointments i turned to sitting on the sidelines (sidelined holding a bag!) and have spent the past year just lurking, reading, and doing a lot of analysis on the message boards. I feel like being able to read the truths and falsehoods off of the message boards is key.

(Lowman - no psychology degree here, but feel that i have a high sensitivity for 'reading' people outside of the message board.. that i'm hoping will carry over :)

I am looking forward to seeing some steps and best practices for doing DD.
