I really hope everyone really thinks about the answer to this question(s) I’m about to ask...

If the 12 patient study resulted from an emergency request by Mayo Clinic, AND it ended up saving all 12, then what is preventing Mayo Clinic from running another request for the next 12 people? And the next 12 people after that? Why in the hell would they not keep using something that works 100% of the time?
