Exactly, that's true for lots of reasons. When you buy a stock at too high of a price, it invariably affects you emotionally if it starts to drop. It's best to find a stock where both the technicals and the fundamentals align. I try (emphasize try) to pick the right stock at the right time. It's also a good idea to gradually build a position over weeks (or months).
