One thing I will add that I don't think many people know is that, unlike most SEC forms, the correspondence between the company and the SEC regarding form amendments is not published in real time. It has a 45 day lag in regards to being published on the SEC website.

Shoot, I was wrong and took too long to edit my original post. I had been going of past memory and hadn't looked up the rule in a while. Apparently the SEC rule was changed beginning in 2012. It is no longer 45 days. It is now 20 days. But the correspondence is only published after the completion of the filing.
