MDTA announced today that one of the largest hub airports in the world, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, has purchased enterprise-wide subscriptions to multiple programs and modules of the PASSUR(R) suite of airport solutions, for use in airport finance, public information/passenger services, operations control, emergency management, airport planning and marketing. Application software to be used includes PASSUR Portal(TM), PASSUR Pulse(TM), PASSUR inSight(TM), and PASSUR RightETA(TM). One of the key areas of planned benefit is increased capture of landing fee revenue.

equitable distribution of the landing fee among all operators, as a
service to the major airport users - and the tools to replace airline
self-reporting with instant online landing fee reports provided by the
airport to the carriers, at a later stage.
-- Better decision making for airport managers and emergency
coordinators through accurate and complete airport information, such
as PASSUR ETAs, runway information, and visual flight following.
-- Quicker response times during regular and irregular operations through
instant communications on Portal Collaborative Decision Making tools.
-- Accurate public information by providing the most precise real-time
flight status.
-- Matching demand to capacity, both in real time and in planning mode,
through visibility into critical usage metrics such as runway
utilization, dwell time, on-times, fleet mix, detailed O and D
statistics, via online reports.


PASSUR Pulse Audit module gives airports access to the most complete, accurate and timely activity reports of arrivals and departures, based on the PASSUR radar record and integrated database of flight information, including detailed owner/operator information, maximum certificated weights by tail number, seat configurations, runway utilization, dwell times, and other details in aggregate and by individual flight.
PASSUR Pulse Proactive Billing module allows airlines to log onto a secure website to view and download their landing fee reports, automatically generated by the PASSUR database of flight information. The program is hosted by Megadata and managed through online tools by the airport, including detailed reporting and invoicing tools, automatic aircraft weight calculations, and detailed owner/operator and aircraft information by flight.

PASSUR Portal is at the heart of the PASSUR Collaborative Decision Making approach, providing an instant, live snapshot of vital operational information on a "web dashboard" of multiple information sets derived from the one-of-a- kind PASSUR database, and tools for instant information sharing and communication among all users. PASSUR RightETA provides the most accurate arrival information for airport FIDS programs. The PASSUR ETA is derived from algorithms which are fed by multiple data sources in real time, including flight position information from the network of

PASSUR radar systems installed throughout the country. It is calculated by tracking multiple real-time metrics of the target flight as well as other nearby aircraft in the surrounding airspace, along with current and historic airspace conditions, resulting in an unmatched predictive capability. There is no equivalent product on the market today.

PASSUR AODB Feeds derived from the integrated PASSUR database to support multiple airport operational and financial systems, such as invoicing/accounts receivable, activity statistics, and gate management systems.
