IMHO, you are overly underestimating the number of people who do follow the rules and who do follow directions. Those US people you refer to are the minority not the majority.

I won't argue percentages but I deal with a lot of different people. I think you are right there to a certain extent. But even among those following the rules I see a large fatigue factor with following them. People want to go back to the way things were.

I definitely see a lack of fear among people in general regarding the consequences. Following the rules and dealing with Covid is not at the top of their list of priorities among those following the rules.

HealthID will need acceptance first and foremost among the younger generation. The demographics of this country have changed a lot. Rather than thinking this might be a cool direction to go in; they are hosting Covid parties. And you are telling me that this is going to sell for money to these kids? The death toll is not nearly high enough to spur them in that direction or to spark any fear in them.
