Just got off the phone

with a guy, Gene, at the DTCC. I was transferred to him after trying about 10 different numbers (therefore I don't have a direct number for him). He was a bit reluctant to answer questions from a private investor regarding divi's, but what I did get from him was the following:

It is a fact that the private company (EQBM in this case), deals directly with the DTCC in the case of a divi. They (DTCC) act as the middleman in the transfer of the divi. There is no communication between the private company (EQBM) and our brokers whatsoever. So for all of our brokers telling us that they haven't been notified by Larry or EQBM about the divi....BS! It doesn't work that way! The notification comes from the DTCC. Perhaps, as other posters have suggested, we haven't been paid yet, because the DTCC is tring to figure this whole mess out, and hopefully forcing the shorts hands.

Let's keep the heat on...I think we're getting somewhere with this.
