The message Mahatmapaul posted said he had done "so much for the company". That tells me that he has purchased restricted stock directly from the company in the past and, therefore, is an accredited investor and eligible to purchase more. As such, it is entirely legitimate for Debbie to inquire if he is interested and why she is asking. If you are also interested and qualified, contact Debbie and ask. I'm sure she would be happy to explain reasons for any capital raise.

Hope this explains why you did not receive such an email. I was surprised to see the email at all. That type of information is normally considered company confidential, divulged to an accredited investor for the express purpose of the transaction. If you went to your bank to borrow money, they'd want to know what you were going to use it for, and I'll bet you's be really pi**ed if they published your information on an open forum.
