They are a ling term investor in NIO with over 10 mil shares. They know this is heading to $40 by year end. They want to grab some cheap shares with their affiliates. Their rating will encourage shorting the stock but later the shorts will suffer great losses just like TSLA shorts. NIO will launch the EC6 later this month with deliveries in September.
