Point taken, but I am for human inclusion and against exclusion. My reasoning are these:

For one, electric vehicles. Believe it or not, that was already tried in the United States as well as world wide. This came and went around 1901. The public at large rejected it for many reasons. (Loss of Jobs being one)

Secondly, as I stated earlier today, Maslow's law has always been the name of the game, as long as we remain human. Jobs have to be abundant for humans to exist and make their own way. If all jobs are eliminated, there is no reason for a free organized Society to exist. I think it would be called socialism or something even worse! (No paying jobs)

Robots are not friends to humans when they take their jobs. People need to work so they don't become their family, friends and neighbors worst enemies. (Robots take away jobs)

Finally, what good does the human experience serve humans, if they cannot directly engage and participate in this experience? Individual choice in my opinion, is what makes any experience human. Not what another chooses for them. Cheaper is not always better if you or a family member are put out of your job because someone else decides you don't need that type of job, and tells you, you will get a better one, or the new job will be much better and you get laid off. Thousands get laid off, and your jobs get off shored! (Job losses)

Finally, from all of my studies (I have many), history will always repeat itself. Might look somewhat different, but in reality is the same! I do agree with you that technology does and always has played a major role in improving products and services, but when it blocks an individual the opportunity to achieve the opportunities of food, clothing and shelter, society has a major problem. I think a book called "MAO" was written on the subject. I like my freedom to work for me and to use my own free will to benefit me. (Technology without consideration of human always equals job loss)

Food for thought, If you don't use your own mind, somebody else will use it for you! (Job loss) That's a fact.

We all have a right to be included in this human experience, not excluded. That is what capitalism is all about. Without consumers (humans) there is no reason for humans or any products or services. Try selling nothing to nothing. How does that work. (Humans make this conscientiousness worth living). There is room for all choices equally. But they have to be inclusive to all. If not, job loss.

Cheaper is not necessarily better. Food, clothing and shelter works best, and a job to get you there works even better. Working and receiving something in exchange for that labor is the best gratification a human can experience in my opinion. JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!! (Job creation)

All good here.
