I don't think potential shorts should dissuade them from uplisting to the big boards, I'd be more concerned about the lack of liquidity on the OTC, it's hard to raise capital or find buyers, if there is no exit for your investors.

NAFS: In case you enter either NASDAQ or NYSE, is there
something that would make you feel unsafe?

C.G:The only reason that one would be afraid, is the scenario
where one’s stocks are sold short, harming that company’s stock
performance. To fear that scenario, you must have reasons to fear,
otherwise it is pointless. On the other hand, I am quite supportive of
the job that short sellers do. They keep tabs on the performances
of listed companies and make directly sure that stocks are adjusted
and reach a fair price. If a company has a solid strategy, respects its
shareholders and the rules of the market within which it operates,
it has nothing to fear. Price fluctuations do happen irrespective of
the performance of the company but these are a reality of the stock
exchange environment and companies should be able to deal with
those as well. In the end, it is the market that takes on the role of
the ultimate judge and if you are found wanting in its eyes, you will
most certainly fail.
