Well, I guess it depends on whether you believe Elon or not. He said robotaxis would be rolling around by year end 2020. Is that going to happen? Heck no.
Remember the hyperloop that Elon didn't invent but hyped (pun intended)? The actual result of what the boring company he built made was simply a tunnel that an individual car can drive down (the tunnel itself looked like crap [uneven etc]) and would require an elevator or ramp to get into/out of. This is supposed to solve traffic congestion?
Elon has made tons of promises. How many of those has he actually made good on?
Elon Musk is a shuckster. Why people keep falling for his outright lies to pump the stock is beyond me and the news media doesn't call him out for it either.
Remember the solar roof shingle that he touted to keep the SolarCity merger alive? It didn't exist and what he showed as a supposed prototype (it wasn't) doesn't look anything like what they're actually installing.
The list of broken promises and guidance that has come out of Elon's mouth I'm sure exists somewhere on the interweb and has to be book length
