Recently, I've been developing an 'individual stock' relationship with an investor who I have found to be astonishingly savvy. He does not post on IHub though, as it's all banter, to him.
Trained in warfare psychology, he applies his skills in the market, since fear and panic, amongst other things, are so prevalent, and yes, quite profitable, in the right applications.
Psychology in trading seems to be greatly overlooked, yet often appears to be the crux between profits and loss.
Man cannot better himself until he knows where his faults lie, and psyche is a key to this. Hence, the more one understands the psyche of such things as heard mentality, the more one can profit from it, even in the event a stock may be a total POS.
I would love to get this individual to post on this area, but I know it's highly unlikey. Since I have absolutely no formal background in psychology, it would be greatly appreciated if someone else who does, can expound in this area, beyond 'heard mentality'.
