Appeal wrong judgement on Wash Federal !

I'm sure it will be appealed.

Your characterization of it as "wrong" could belie a common fallacy, though. Judge Margaret Sweeney is highly respected and highly qualified, and really the best judge that the various plaintiffs in the USCFC could have hoped for. She certainly knows more about laws and legal precedents than all of us message board posters put together.

When a judge's ruling disagrees with our intuition, it is nearly always going to be our intuition that is incorrect.

This is why we have the judicial system. Sure, it isn't perfect, but it is largely run by qualified individuals that, believe it or not, get it right nearly all the time.

Complaining about Sweeney's actions here is like complaining about the officiating in a sports game, but even more fruitless because in sports the replay clearly shows whether the call was right or wrong. With Washington Federal, we never got to see the sealed documents so it is quite possible that some of them actually strengthened the government's case.

They could not of explained the fraud to Sweeney
any better and she still FAILED miserably.

As it turns out, she dismissed the cases for lack of standing. She never even had to touch on the merits. Thus what you claim she "failed miserably" on, she never actually ruled on! Next time please clarify exactly what you think she was wrong about.
