I've also given a great deal of thought to the "direct to consumer" sales channel. I was somewhat surprised that EI went with conventional distribution channels.

The industry is really moving toward the direct model, but it is not there yet and I think EI made the right decision in signing distributors and getting their products in funeral homes.
