In America countless criminals who have injured themselves
during the commission of a crime (mostly B&Es) have sued
their victims to varying degrees of success.

The analogy with AMD works to the extent to which AMD is
largely IMO a victim its own historical incompetence and
ability to self-destruct. Its success over the past year or two
as the result of a good design coupled with good execution
shows how little merit there is in AMD's case.
