I've long felt he likely saw an opportunity to make way more than he was used to making while pursuing a real interest of his. I suspect shareholder's interests were low on his priority list. He may have not wanted to know too much about the bigger motives of MLDG, especially early on.

And the continued use of college students was for me was one of many tip-offs that development may not have been as ground-breaking as was indicated by the company.

It's a shame the deception was allowed to continue for so long.
