When I first heard the CYDY Pro-140 story in the summer of 2012 I was sitting in our backyard by the pool sipping an adult beverage. I was being pitched by the man that saved Pro-140 and gave it new life with the commitment of Nader to run the show. At the time I was deeply consumed with another investment and I wasn’t particularly open to the HIV pitch.

That investment was with a company that my wife and I had poured our guts into for over 20 years. We participated in the process of growing from a $25M company to a multi billion $ company and a private to public held company traded on the NYSE. In the pioneering stage our vision was clear and laser focused despite most everyone around us thinking we were dreaming foolishly. In the end both sides were right. Yes, we were dreaming, but not foolishly, and that dream became reality.

Despite my minds unwillingness to let the CYDY story in it caught my Visionary piece of my brain and got me thinking. The pieces to the puzzle were dumped on the table. I had a choice to shove the pieces back or spread them out and begin the process — assembling the outlying border together to build a foundation to see if the journey was worth the risk. Vision is what it takes to pull the trigger when the state of the puzzle is nothing more than a pile of disjointed pieces.

Today the amount of vision that is required to see what this puzzle is going to look like has been scaled from a .30 SP to $6. The vision required is now 20 times more obvious to the market than it was just six months ago.

For some no matter how obvious the conclusion to this story becomes they will never see it for what it truly is. Not everyone has the vision required to see the forest for the trees. Some remain lost in the forest their entire lives claiming to be experts in navigation. All they can see is a forest under attack that will soon be given countless haircuts and can’t possibly survive. They scream to be recognized as prophets while running in circles while visionaries dance their way to prosperity needing nothing more than the satisfaction that goes with confirmation.

I have found through experience it is not only wise but tremendously valuable to align with visionaries. Visionaries are the rulers of the world. The greats have the ability to deduct and extract all of the noise down to the factual reality of the gold left in the pan. For the most part this board has attracted intelligent and articulate visionaries.

A big shout out this 4th of July weekend to all the bright minds for providing the vision and clarity to facilitate the transforming of dreams into reality. It’s happening right before our eyes.
