I see your point now, as I did after I had already posted and my edit time was over and read your reply to others regarding your statements.

I do think, though, that Leo could assure govt that experts would be brought in for needed expertise for human trials, though these would most likely be done with top hospitals and with the input of govt medical experts (wouldn't we expect the govt already has a basic concept of the way a major human trial for CV would have to be set up as to end points, safety limits, etc so it wouldn't be left completely in the hands of non-govt persons), etc. as was stated by JFM in an earlier post.

My contention why we haven't seen a grant yet is COMPLETELY due to the size of the grant being considered. A small amount, no problem, but a grant to cover a PAN-CORONA that could also be encompassing the flu, HIV, Ebola, encephalitis, and all other types of viruses with the proper care taken to validate such a world-changing drug would require a definitely high amount of money, maybe in the hundreds of millions.

It's not as if every other drug is now knocking it out of the park. In fact, the shelves are looking pretty empty in the cupboard of possible CV19 treatments and vaccines. I think they now realize how encompassing a drug has to be to be able to be effective against CV19 and that Brilacidin may be the only option that covers all those requirements and they don't want to screw it up as to investigating it to the max. Hope I am right in this matter.
