While this Hi Point rifle is not the first, nor is it the only semiautomatic weapon I have owned, it is the first and only one that looks "evil," according to the way those who oppose them think. It is black. It has wierd looking and functional structure, and it is designed to kill people. Make no mistake about that. It will do what it is designed to do. It is wise to have something so designed just in case you encounter one of those people who need that process. I watch television news, and see plenty of examples of people who scream out "kill me." It is interesting that the photos of those "peaceful" protesters in Seattle show some of them carrying similar weapons. Why is the press not up in arms about that? Those protesters obviously do not need those large magazines to hunt deer, right?
I bought this carbine a couple of years ago because it looked interesting. I do own a 1911 .45 auto handgun, and like the stopping power, and I found this to be fun to shoot target with. The real reason I own such weapons is because I don't like the way this country is moving, and even at my advanced age, feel the need to be prepared, just in case.

I don't believe I have too many of such weapons. I may have too many deer rifles, though..
