Sure the government would pay. But, do you really want them to wait on starting manufacturing process until after they have a grant for it? You'd really go nuts with that wait!!!

It makes perfect sense to have started manufacturing already. What wouldn't make sense is to not start it when they know they'll need it whether they partner up or go it alone with grant funds. No trials without drugs.

The Company is in the process of manufacturing Brilacidin for intravenous (IV) dosing and will be seeking FDA guidance for a planned COVID-19 clinical study.


The government would likely step in to manufature if the first trial is successful.

why wouldn't govt help with IV manufacture if data so great? Leave it to a company with no staff and no resources to make a drug on an emergency basis? Really?

Poor little nearly penniless IP with no staff has to come up with the drug that could save thousands of lives- maybe-if it works? And no one would help them?

That does not make sense
