BP is also probably doing a receptor occupancy test. He mentioned it in one of his talks/interviews. The drug has a marker on it. So at day 3 if you have a patient with very high level of CCR5 receptor occupancy and another with zero then corelate with each patients respective bloodwork it would be very obvious. In the severe/critical trial if bloodwork stops coming in because a patient died you could see if ever they had receptor occupancy. IMO that's why you see BP so confident in Ted talks.
