I have been reading this board for a while and decided it was time to start posting as all this bickering and antagonism has reached a point such that I need to be a part of it for my own personal pleasure. I have a fairly substantial chunk of this stock and have been watching these developments very closely. In so far as the NASA announcement is concerned, everyone should be extremely pleased. NASA needs six of each as they need to have multiple units to test for each "Generation" of their new rover. The G1 group of these rover will be fabricated and tested so that improvements can be made as problems are noticed through testing and as opportunities for improvement are noted through testing. Torvec has been invited onto the front line of this project and will have an opportunity to actually right the specification for the rovers differential and drive mechanisms. They will be working with a number of manufacturers from the automotive and electrical contol/robotics industries. This is an excellent place for the "g-men" to link up with multibillion dollar firms who will see thier product and their intelligence tested under the most complete and exaustive proving ground in the world. Many of these companies have the capability to produce the full line of Torvec inginuity which could lead to some real bargaining capital for Torvec. Right now without the capability to go into massive scale production, prospective buyers/partners such as Eaton, Ford, GM or Shanghai have no real incentive to make Torved an offer based on a fair market value of the technologies themselves as these inventions are not yet a competitive threat. These companies are trying to get a cheap liscence out of torvec instead, basically trying to wait them out. Out of the multiple entrances for the NASA contest that was spoke of earlier today, one or two ideas from the winning entry will probably make it into space after NASA purchases a cheap license and then tests and improves the idea to the level at which it will be approved for space. Its an ironic parallel really as the large auto producers are essentially viewing TORVEC the way NASA views the student entries. This iw why the school bus program is so important, it gives Torvec production capability and makes them a competitive threat. However this NASA deal has an even better capabilty to produce a production alliance or at the very least the impression of an impending and inevitable production capability which will infinitely strengthen Torvec bargaining power across the board with all the people I listed above. I would look for this alliance through the NASA program to come from a multi billion dollar manufacturer who might either want to strengthen their possition in the automotive industry or possibly even create one all together.
