THANK YOU "A go go" for your time, attention & thoughtful reply. The debt restructuring looks mostly like window-dressing. NOT that they didn't work on it, pay some down, etc., but the TOTAL NET result wasn't as grand as I'd suspected considering the time & attention they seemed to have given it.

NO MATTER. No matter how small or marginal I think it to be it definitely was SOMETHING & they deserve some credit (pardon the pun) even though they remain quite leveraged. Like I said, I LOVE their properties. I just think they're kinda stuck in an OLDER-ISH revenue model. It's like OTHERS took the subscription slots AHEAD of them & they got left behind with "filler cable content" essentially LOCKED INTO cable-TV bundling. What I mean by that? The ACTUALLY HAVE BETTER content then Netflix RAN WITH. But Netflix & others were FIRST & less expensive... And are now catching-up with BETTER CONTENT... & it feels as though VIAC is kinda trapped between...

I'd LOVE to see them FIND A WAY to LEVERAGE their content, I think it is MORE VALUABLE than what they get for it. And ADVERTISING dollars are NOT cutting it. Moreover, the FACT that they were LATE to monetize STREAMING put them in a CLUTTER of options!

It's just a WEIRD situation. I DO NOT KNOW (or claim) that I would have done ANY BETTER at navigating the transition I felt they NEEDED TO MAKE & how they move forward from here! BUT, they seem kinda betwixt & between (if this makes sense to you/others) & I DO NOT rightly KNOW the answers...

Streaming ABROAD actually ought to be an EXCELLENT native & possibly HUGE area of growth for coveted U.S. content that is QUITE GOOD & probably will be VERY WELL received. They MAY need to establish their business ABROAD FIRST until the stumble on a U.S. fix, or until advertising prices MOVE MUCH HIGHER & the model is justified.

Their content is TOO GOOD to languish, it's BETTER than "basic cable" & they are STUCK in an outdated advertising model TO MY EYES!!

Thanks again for your input... Love to hear from others. Again, just an outsider investor looking at dividend stocks & saw some promise here so I'm digging deeper & following-up. If anyone has thoughts to share I'd LOVE to hear them! PS: I LOOOOVE, LOVE, LOVE that insiders made some buys out on the open market back in Feb/March & think that bodes well here! GLA
