Let me try and break it down. The utah facility that processes tests processes oa non rapid test. It's a 3 day turnaround. This facility will be used to monitor players tests. However that's the general base. All players and staff and friends and family of the teams will have access to up to several rapid tests a week. It is impossible for the utah facility to use their test they process because it is not the rapid test. Mlb has to use a rapid test for the entire other part of the equation. There is limited availability of who offers a rapid test. Its possible to believe they will be purchasing large amounts of abmc as well as aytu tests. The codx type test they will be using and processing for their base is controlled by utah labs. The lab will also record keep all the personal rapid tests that they will not be processing. That's how I interpret it.
