The VW squeeze as I recall,,,I think October 2008,,,went to just shy of $2000 per share. I think it went just over $1900, going from memory.
But you have to keep in mind, VW had way less than 320m outstanding shares at the time. Something like 50 or 60m if I remember correctly. NASDAQ will never, ever again let its short selling scumbag pets be burned down like. They just wont. If they have to, they will just keep halting a stock and using pink/gray algo manipulation tactics.
