Perhaps reading this will improve your understanding of the AIG bailout as administered by the Federal Reserve. The senior shares AIG held and converted to common shares were cashed out because they had NOT repaid the loan advanced by the Fed. FnF have more than paid back their bailout amount taken in 2008/09. That difference accounts for the common dilution in the AIG matter.

AIG bought back their warrants held by the Fed. I believe this outcome will be replicated in the release of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And, for the life of me, I cannot grasp why any common shareholder would complain about or attack a comparison to the AIG bailout because it supports the very helpful position that the Senior shares are no longer valid because the bailout $$$ was more than fully repaid, already.
