Foreign countries probably have their own versions of "FDA" that regulate drug manufacture. Those countries have pharmaceutical companies that are more familiar with local laws/process and hopefully have access to CMOs that can be "certified" to their local regulations

CytoDyn has sooooo much revenue potential with overseas licensing royalties that isolates them from the ramp up speed unique to each country. Plus, there are probably some good lawyers that will ensure patent protections are in place and can also slide an indemnity clauses into those licensing agreements in the event the locals run afoul of their regulatory agencies or manufacturing issues.

But they should give it a tradename unique to each country. You never know if something gets "lost in translation" - like urban legend of Chevy renamed the "Nova" in Spanish speaking countries because in Spanish it's too close to "no va"....or in English "no goes".

...plus, if the local licensee screws something up then the name "Leronlimab" isn't in the news as a problem.
