I think it was the movie Clue, that depending on where you saw it, had alternate endings. You should see that 3 times. Of course all 3 were awful.

As for me, I can watch Forrest Gump again and again, as well as some other movies. Guess I'm just simple that way.
Somewhere I read that if a movie needs narration, the director has done a bad job of portraying the information. Or maybe it's the writer.
How about this, a good movie is like a good restaurant where you go back to re-order the same thing you had last time because it was so good.
