What possibly could have been the mindset for 3 guys who all had several kids each and a wife, to decide in the middle of December to climb Oregons tallest mountain without at least checking out the projected weather.

Why at all in the middle of the winter.,I have to say not very well thought out and for that they paid the ultimate price along with their familys they leave behind. WTF

I don't get it.
