All buys good buys. A grant or big pharma partnership or more big league/big boys data, we will be many times current in 1-2 days. Something no one is raising here is the prospect of a fast acquisition PRE-APPROVAL. So, logic: A possible acquirer sees great potential now of this drug called Brilacidin. They see some bang-up lab data in Covid-19, the sniff around and see the pipeline is full of great mature assets (OM, IBD, Immuno-Dermatology), and they say, "hey, stan (their CEO), look at this, this IPIX is with a market cap of___let's say $300M at the point of this convo, let's have a go to acquire the company at $1B--paying them and their shareholders a sweet premium. Now, now folks, now now, this is a very real world possibility. After all, Covid-19 hadn't done a Phase 3 trial at this point, so debate this kind of topic until the cows come home, but it may be awfully tempting to take a fast 9X multiple of current (150M not 300m).

In the end, who knows the final price. All I am saying is serious acquistion bulls eye written all over IPIX if good news flows in the next 30-60 days.
