Another fully automated production facility?

That suggests we already have one. But Prodigy is not ‘fully automated.’ All they do there is raise silkworms, kill them, box them up and send them off for reeling.

Prodigy can’t currently even reel their own silks. None of the production at Prodigy is automated. It’s all quite low-tech. Workers with trays of food and silkworms.

If Maxim provides $11 million and Thompson uses $6 million to pay off his debts to himself, the company won’t have much to fund expansion, especially since their burn rate is already 6 figures a month, and we have no commercial production until September to defray some of these expenses.

The short production year will result in around a metric ton of product, assuming their previous production rate projections can be adapted to the shortened production year. We are talking about $30,000 in sales for 2020. Expenses between now and December are estimated at $600,000.

What a mess.
