I won't repeat the merits of the science because anyone who has done their DD fully know and understand the value of IPIX. I've been long for 7+ years and have benefited from the Mako's et al of IPIX detractors. I've bought as high as $3.94 on 1-14-15, but loaded up when it hit .06 and wallowed under .10 I'm not in the class of those who have millions of shares but I am well in the 6 figure group. I'm in the green as I lowered my cost basis in the .30's.
So let me give you a practical perspective of why this most likely be IMO a game changer. In the 30+ years in practice I met with scores of Pharma reps in my office. I attended many medical conventions for CE credit and the conventions of Pharma vendors from L.A, Las Vegas, Paris, Milan, Vienna and far more that is not necessary to mention. In all those years I have yet to have a rep say we have a drug that will cure a disease that you have seen in your practice. But they ALL have touted a drug that will treat that disease they had mentioned. Sorry for this long diatribe and I'll come to the point now. Big Pharma does not want to cure disease. There is no money or profits to me made for that endpoint. That being said, the money is in treating the disease in a therapeutic modality. Ergo, Brilacidin! Treatment is where Pharma makes their profits, not cures. It's sad, but true and that is the reality of pharmaceutical industry. So I would love to see B used in conjunction for other drugs for a vaccine. But for us investors in IPIX the money will be in the Tx of Covid19 which we are perfectly positioned at this time. IMO this is the game changer the world is looking for. I can't even give a wild guess how many different drugs I had to us on patients when they no longer were viable because of drug resistance. It was like a dog chasing his tail. That, however, will not be the case with a defensin mimetic drug such as B. And therein lies one part of the miraculous genesis of this class of drug. And Covid19 is just a drop in the bucket of the possibilities of the cadre of scientist that will utilize the stable of drugs and their uses. Crohn's, OM, Cancer, etc with K and endless other uses that we probably haven't envisioned at this date with skyrocket IPIX's value. IMO it's not a question of "if", but when this will see not only double digit dollars, but it's not a stretch to see IPIX in triple digit dollar pps. As they say in Disneyland please keep you arms and legs inside the car during the ride. Because we are in for a wild ride very soon as we reach dizzying heights of profitability. And my personal thx to all the wonderful contributors that have supplied such wonderful and insightful technical and informative information. There are too many to mention here. And ironically I give thx to the FUD-sters and Mako type posters that enabled me to add hundred of thousands of shares that I never could afforded in the $3 ranges of the past. To use a classic metaphor, I, as well as other longs have made lemonade out of the lemons we had been handed these past few years. All the best to all.
