That is very different!

My experience is limited but in latter months I look at the same information in the Schwab extended trading hours for various stocks after first in the morning checking yahoo for futures expectations.

If a serious down or up day is expected I see some significant differences, not quite that much but I've put it off to computer trading (ask high, bid low). I've never seen an asking that was that much higher than the trading day ending price.

Extended hour for Schwab shows an ask of 4.19 and a bid of 4.13
